The Scilogex STORM5000 Chemical Duty Vacuum pump is constructed from quality parts and manufactured in the USA. They are recommended for operations utilizing organic/aqueous solvents and/or light acid/base solutions and can also be used to pressurize up to 18 PSIG. It is equipped with a 1/5 HP motor and provides a maximum of 37 L/min of free air displacement and 24 in-Hg of maximum vacuum. A regulator with gauge is used to monitor and adjust vacuum level. STORM5000 vacuum pumps are resistant to bleach and acetone vapors allowing use with cell culture decontamination protocols.
