The Scilogex STORM3000 Chemical Duty Vacuum pump is constructed from quality parts and manufactured in the USA. The STORM3000 operates quietly at approximately 54 dB. The PTFE coated surfaces, PTFE membrane, oil-free design and stainless steel valves makes the vacuum pump virtually maintenance free. It is equipped with a 1/7 HP motor and provides a maximum of 20 L/min of free air displacement and 22 in-Hg of maximum vacuum. A regulator with gauge is used to monitor and adjust vacuum level. STORM3000 vacuum pumps are resistant to bleach and acetone vapors allowing use with cell culture decontamination protocols.
