Scilogex D160 Homogenizer, 0.1-250ml

The Scilogex D160 homogenizer is an ideal choice to quickly homogenize, emulsify, and disperse samples. The D160 homogenizer is capable of handling 0.1 - 50ml of liquid or 1 - 250ml depending on which generating probe is used. Complete homogenization of tissues is typically achieved in just a few seconds. Little to no heat is produced during operation.

While in operation, suspended material is drawn into the core of the homogenizer by a rotor spinning at up to 30,000 rpm. The material is continuously cycled through narrow slots in the probe where it is rapidly disintegrated and sheared.
