Lab Jacks

Laboratory jacks are adjustable platforms used in laboratories to precisely lift and support equipment or containers to a desired height, providing stability and flexibility during experiments. Typically constructed from metal or sturdy materials, lab jacks feature a screw mechanism or a scissor-lift design that allows users to raise or lower objects with fine control. They are commonly used to support heating elements, flasks, beakers, or reaction vessels in processes where height adjustments are necessary, such as during heating, distillation, or titration

.

In laboratories, jacks are especially useful when it is important to control the distance between equipment and heat sources, such as Bunsen burners or heating mantles, to prevent overheating or ensure even heating. They are also used to stabilize items on rotary evaporators, reflux setups, or distillation columns. In addition to offering precise height adjustments, lab jacks are useful for positioning equipment during microscopic examination, centrifugation, or for holding glassware at specific angles to optimize reactions or flow rates.
