Incubator Shakers

Incubator shakers combine the functions of a shaker and an incubator, used for a variety of laboratory and industrial applications. These instruments provide controlled temperature environments while simultaneously shaking samples, creating a uniform mixing effect. They are commonly used in biological and microbiological research, where consistent agitation is needed to promote cell growth, protein expression, or the mixing of biological samples. Incubator shakers are typically employed in cell culture applications, where they help maintain optimal conditions for growing bacteria, yeast, or mammalian cells by ensuring continuous aeration and even nutrient distribution. They are also used in experiments requiring the incubation of samples with gentle mixing, such as protein extraction, fermentation processes, and enzyme reactions. By offering precise control over both temperature and shaking speed, incubator shakers provide researchers with a reliable tool for a wide range of laboratory applications.
