This digital dry block heater from IKA accommodates 2 aluminum blocks. It provides precision temperature control in small vessels. The Dry Block Heater 2 is highly versatile with a large selection of blocks. It comes with the PT-1000 temperature sensor that allows direct temperature control from within the vessel. It can be used with cuvettes, Greiner tubes, microplates, PCR tubes and PCR strips.
The Dry Block Heater 2 has many features including stepless adjustable temperature control, an adjustable countdown timer, an audible completion notification, fixed safety circuit and error code display. This digital block heater is ideal for enzyme reactions, incubation and activation of cultures, DNA denaturation, culture media test, coagulation test, bloo-urea-nitrogen determinations, in situ hybridizations, and melting and boiling point determination.
