The IKA A 11 handheld analytical grinding is capable of performing 2 separate grinding procedures. Impact grinding of hard, brittle or non-elastic grinding materials is possible with the included high-grade stainless steel beater. This beater can be used for a Mohs hardness up to 6. With an additional cutting blade, the A 11 grinding mill can perform cutting grinding for pulverizing soft, fibrous materials with a cutting blade (not included). Moist and gluey materials can be pulverized by adding water. The A 11 analytical grinding mill chamber is made of Tefcel (PTFE, glass fiber-reinforced) with stainless steel inlet and has a capacity of 80 ml.
