The Diamond PerfectSmear blood smearing tool is designed to make blood smearing error-free and safe. They are lightweight and flexible which protects blood cells from destruction that occurs when using glass slides. The tapered ends of the Perfect Smear tool produce consistant uniform smearing.
Reduce error with this tool. The standard blood smearing technique utilizes two glass slides to create the smear. Glass slides can damage blood cells and make replication difficult. The technique used with the Diamond PerfectSmear is very simple and similar to that of using two glass slides. The picture below shows the process beautifully.
