The Benchmark Scientific Roto-Mini Plus variable speed tube rotator is ideal for a wide range of laboratory applications including protein binding, nucleic acid purification, re-suspension and more. Interchangeable tube holders are included with the Roto-Mini Plus that cover most common tube sizes ranging from 0.5 ml to 50 ml. The mixing motion can be adjusted from vertical mixing (end-over-end) to horizontal mixing (rolling).
The Roto-Mini Plus has a variable speed control of 5 to 70 rpm and features three mixing modes.
- Mix Mode: Rotating and oscillating motion for increased mixing performance
- Pause Mode: Rotating with intermittent stops during rotation
- Rock Mode: Back and forth, gentle rocking motion (see-saw)
Roto-Mini Plus also offers an additional rocking platform (4.5 x 3 in.), as well as a 96 x 0.2ml tube/strip/plate holder for mixing PCR vessels in the “Mix” (oscillating) mode. Both are sold separately.
