The Benchmark HS-10 Plus Hotplate Stirrer is designed to heat and stir up to five sample containers at the same time. Unlike traditional stirrers, the HS-10 features a large 10 x 10 inch square top plate that can accommodate larger vessels, such as 10-liter bottles, with a diameter of up to 10 inches.
The top plate is made from durable, chemically resistant white ceramic, ensuring even heating up to 400°C. The five stirring positions are clearly marked to make it easier to load and position the sample containers. You can monitor both the temperature and stirring speed on a large digital display. A safety LED light turns on when the top plate exceeds 50°C. For precise temperature control, an external temperature probe can be used. The probe continuously monitors and adjusts the temperature, keeping it within +/- 1°C of the selected setting.
