The Aspire laboratory aspirator from Accuris is perfect for many applications, including the removal of media from tissue cultures, removal of supernatants, and chemical separation.

The Aspire features a comfortable, ergonomic handheld controller to help reduce repetitive strain injuries in the lab. Pressing the button applies vacuum. The controller, along with its adapters, hold standard 200 to 300 ul disposable pipette tips and are fully autoclavable for disinfecting. Both the controller and adapter are manufactured using POM or polyoxymethylene. The pipette accepts Pasteur pipettes, serological pipettes, and also comes with 2 accessory pipette cones. One cone is designed to accommodate the standard 200/300ul pipette tips, the other has a thin, stainless steel capillary for fine control aspirating.

To prevent spills, an overflow protection valve is incorporated into the 2 liter polycarbonate collection bottle. In the event that the collection bottle becomes full, the valve closes off the silicone tube from vacuum. To protect the vacuum pump from contaminants and moisture, a replaceable in-line filter was added. Easy to read graduation lines on the collection bottle indicate the amount of fluid collected and when to empty the contents.
