Accuris E3000 Ultra Violet Transilluminator for Gel Imaging

Busy laboratories with minimal space were kept in mind when designing the Accuris E3000 UV transilluminator. Measuring only 10.5" in width, the E3000 fits perfectly in any lab space. But don't let the compact size fool you, it's 16 x 19 cm viewing surface accommodates multiple small gels and larger gel sets. The scratch resistant illuminated surface is manufactured with a special black glass that's easy to clean and durable.

Even illumination is achieved with an array of high intensity ultra violet bulbs and an optimized filter which allows for the detection of small samples. With an adjustable intensity switch, technicians can choose between 50% or 100% intensity to reduce the amount of damage to the DNA samples that can occur with long exposures. Use the 100% setting for viewing weak fluorescent signals or for photo documentation.

Technicians are kept safe from harmful UV radiation with the acrylic UV blocking cover. It uses friction hinges to allow for angling of the cover for easier gel access. It can also be placed into a 90° position to fit a gel imaging hood, such as the Accuris SmartDoc™ imaging enclosure.
